    @Lydia Nichols What technique do you use to roughen the edges and the linework? I have been wanting to bring that look into my projects lately but don't really know how to pull it off easily.

    @Gavin Thompson Those dark, red-ish lines are real pencil that I drew separately, scanned, and then overlayed in Photoshop. I usually get roughness by mixing some hand element with digital.

    Oh nice. It's definitely a process then. My main relationship with illustration so far has been Sketching on paper —> Vector work in Illustrator —> adding texture in Photoshop. there are so many different ways out there.
