Everybody knows Google. In their 'about' page, they say the following: "Since the beginning, we’ve focused on providing the best user experience possible." They could have improve their search experience, though.
Some time ago, they introduced the 'infinite scroll' feature. It's very user friendly: you just scroll, and scroll, and scroll to see your results. You don't have to click on 'next page' anymore. But what they forgot is what will happen if the user wants to search for something else. Oops, problem. You have to scroll all the way to the top again to start a new search. They didn't introduce a feature to make this process user friendly. You can add a 'go-to-top' feature, but this isn't what the user wants: it wants to search immediatly.
I came up with a solution where Google uses a sticky search bar. This way, the user has the possibility to search again in a very easy and user friendly way.
Any thoughts about my project or this solution? Feel free to comment!
