Poster - Starck Exhibition at The Dayton Art Institute

The goal of this project was to become familiar with the process of creating and coloring vector artwork in Illustrator. I also learned about various shape tools and how to recolor artwork using PANTONE swatches. I created a stylized informational poster that will be displayed in public spaces as well as in the lobby of The Dayton Art Institute.

The two vector artwork, "Juicy Salif" and "Sailing Yacht A," were a recreation of these famous inventions from Starck.

I started with the vector artwork on Illustrator. Then, I edited the photo of Starck on photoshop, removing the background, and adding the "sketch lines." Lastly, I finished the layout on InDesign, adding the texts and the colored forms.
