This is a tiny snippet of what, for me at least, was a lettering marathon. I wrote a poem describing the true story about how my home town, Thornleigh, got its name. It's 175 words and I lettered the entire thing by hand. The project is part of http://suburbanlegends.com.au — 25 limited edition, A2 posters will be sold to raise funds for the Starlight foundation. Thanks to The Distillery in Sydney for making the project! Details here – My limited edition letterpress poster for Suburban Legends at @dstllry is now available. All proceeds to charity. http://tinyurl.com/c5reyq8

@Casey Britt I know ;)
Such a great aesthetic!! *high five*
I got to see this in person at the Distillery! It's really beautiful. Super impressed that you wrote that whole thing yourself, I was wondering where you might've dug that poem up from.
Thanks @Jess Wong, writing it took me quite awhile I'm not really a good writer. The whole story is much longer, they steal a watch from a Doctor and go back and there was another Cop called Horne that Hornsby is named after, had to leave it all out :D
