This project was a year long work on 3D animation and motion graphic on cell replication and telomere importance.
Through sketches in Illustrator, moving onto Blender and After Effects (rendering through RenderStreet), back to Photoshop it was quite a challenging job.
Working with scientists this project was oriented around correct information. Also the visualisations have a certain amount of creative freedom which really can add a lot to the final work.
As designers our job is not only to do ui, illustration or make things pretty but to add a general quality to living life. Improving things and making them have more sense and logic can help everyone; including scientists.
We should really make our community more open to working with people from totally different ends of the spectrum to create beautiful and smart solutions for the ordinary and unordinary.
