Season 2 of the Overtime podcast is here! Listen to the first episode with Meg Robichaud now.
After many many concept sketches... this was the chosen concept of a logo design I did for a cloud based storage service called stomo (Store More) only avaliabe for Android. The idea here was trying to illustrate a file or data (represented in this case by a block or as I like to think of it, a pixel) being lifted from a device and being stored above (Cloud).
It made sense to me and I thought it would be kinda hilarious in a really messed up way to push this idea of backup being somewhere above after reading an article on c-net months ago about a huge amount of people believing cloud storage to be some sort of backup system or computer actually located in the sky thus being affected by thunderstorms and lightning... HA!
I'm pretty sure these are just people who do not give two schmidtzs about tech-stuff and any of the things some of us dribbble's are aware of. I also did the website layout and I should be able to share that very soon.
Anyhow, feedback much appreciated. Oh, the attachent has the monotone version and an on white version.
