Both the client and my buddy, Patrick Hunton, offered some really great feedback. After spending some quality time fine tuning everything, here's the second draft.

My only critique would be that some of the titles span two lines and push the date down so I would align all of the dates or maybe move them above the image?

Looking really nice Zach! I like the changes you made to the "From the Blog" section. The only thing I keep coming back to right now is the "Newsletter" section... Email address just seems to stand out a little too much. If "email address" is going to be in the box as placeholder text until the user inputs their own, then I'd say it needs toned down a bit (maybe go with the same color as "sign up"). If the box is empty until the user starts typing, then it won't stand out quite as much. Also, I think matching the style of the search area, and removing the border around "sign up", might help just a bit.

Keep up the good work man!
