Absolute Italian Championship of JuJitsu 2019 - Poster 70x100

We designed the Visual Identity of the Absolute Italian Championship of JuJitsu 2019. The photos provided by the client represented scenes of fight between two factions represented by two different colors, red and blue. Therefore We decided to reproduce these colors as palette of the graphic project. These palette represent also the colors of Catania, the Italian city that will host the event.
We have chosen to merge photography and typography, rotating the lettering in such a way as to have greater dynamism. The main artwork has been realized in two versions: horizontal and vertical for the narrowest and longest formats (such as totems and roll-up). To the main artwork we have associated a second one to be used as accompanying communication and for social purposes.

Abbiamo realizzato la Visual Identity del Campionato Italiano Assoluto di JuJitsu 2019. Le foto fornite dal cliente raffiguravano scene di lotta tra due fazioni, rappresentate da due diversi colori: rosso e blu. Pertanto si è deciso di utilizzare questi due colori come palette cromatica del progetto grafico, supportati anche dal fatto di essere i colori di Catania, città che ospiterà l’evento.
Si è scelto di fondere fotografia e tipografia, inclinando di qualche grado quest’ultima in modo da avere una maggiore dinamicità. L’artwork principale è stato realizzato in due versioni, orizzontale e verticale, quest’ultimo per i formati più stretti e lunghi (come ad esempio i totem e i roll-up). All’artwork principale ne abbiamo associato un secondo da potere utilizzare sui social e come comunicazione di accompagnamento.
