    I think the white inner shadow should be a bit softer, when going for that really outgoing effect, I think it suits better. But other than that, good job!

    Thanks for the feedback, guys! I agree that it's not quite "there" yet. To me, it's the fact that the highlight is on the top when not pressed, giving the illusion that it is seen from above. And when pressed the shadow is visibe only on top, giving the illusion that it is seen from below. It needs something to make it more inset while pressed. So I'll do some more tweaking! :)

    Regarding the hard, white inner shadow, I see your points. However, a softer inner shadow would create a "round" button without a hard edge on top, which is the opposite of what I was going for. :)

    Maybe if you reduce the top white when not pressed, that feeling that its being seen from above would vanish. Maybe a one pixel white would look like a highlight, instead of a perspective. But I think it's great!
