Task Management App UX & UI Design

We like to lead with some polish for any new projects that we post on Dribbble. Especially handsome in this UI are the blacks! Some creatives may think, "It doesn't get more mundane than talking about Black. What's so special about Black?". Well Black, and we've capitalized it purposefully, is a design precept that we think more designers should think about. Many UI designers immediately default to the the RGB standard 0-0-0 to bring depth to their element styling. Few designers consider the composition of their black or what kind of black is most appropriate given the formal design elements on the page - namely, the use of color.

Black: something to think about. You won't find any 0-0-0 in this app!
