Epic Sports Insurance Logo

"Epic" is an insurance company for action sports athletes. I wanted to communicate a brand that would identify with youth and look more like a sports lifestyle brand instead of an insurance company. Inspiration came from "Neff Headwear"

I'm looking for critical feedback. What do you think about the mark itself? Do you think the colors work? Are they horrible? Am I way off on this?
