Miscellany: A Jazz Nutcracker Flyer

I was asked by a dance company to create the art for their upcoming holiday performance, "Miscellany: A Jazz Nutcracker". This flyer along with a handful of other items where the result of the inspiration I pulled from Russian graphic design, Post WWII era and other elements surrounding the Jazz culture. My goal was to really hone in on the abstraction and simplicity of all these elements to piece them together. This was a project that I really just put my heart into and I'm really satisfied with the results. Enjoy!
