Monster in a cup

This is an older design made for a school project, we were assigned to create a WordPress blog with various features. Of course, I started with the logo design and had some sort of character in mind, taking the form of a tiny monster that emerges before the first sip of coffee while reading recent news and trends. Nes is a sarcastic and witty critic designed to guide readers through their daily news digest with unique and comic comments and remarks. The name is a play on words: nes (which is a Romanian term used for a type of coffee), monster and of course, referencing the famous Loch Ness monster.
