The Festy — Posters

So excited to show off my most recent freelance work— a complete rebrand of The Festy, a music and mindfulness festival held in Charlottesville, VA, celebrating their 10th year anniversary this year.

My family and I are traveling down to the festival this weekend and I can't wait to see all the hard work that was put into this come to life.

I’m working on a larger case study of the project but for now just wanted to share a sneak peek.

Huge shout out to one of my besties, @Dan Cox for all his hard work on this. Just two besties working on the Festy. Couldn’t have done it without you mang! 😘

Approaching the Festy's 10th anniversary, Festy co-founders took the opportunity to reevaluate their values. Ever since its founding in 2010, The Festy has focused on being a family-friendly, environmentally-friendly music festival. For its first nine years, The Festy was hosted on camping grounds in rural Virginia. The truth was, The Festy was becoming more than just a music festival— it was expanding to include not just music, but yoga, meditation, and adding more kid-friendly activities. The experience no longer fit within a campground setting and the co-founders realized they could better serve their mission by hosting the 10th Annual Festy in a more convenient, family-friendly, urban landscape— Charlottesville, VA.

My team and I were brought on to symbolize this change in the form of a rebrand. Working closely with the co-founders, we created a brand system meant to embody the festival's inclusive, mindful, and funky vibes.
