    I have gone through many iterations since my last Languages Icon post and wanted to go with something very simple to match the app.

    I know apps that have a simple but recognizable icon are more likely to land on my home screen and that is what I am aiming for.

    Looks great! I think going with the simple icon was the right choice. You should post the other iterations, I'm interested in seeing them.

  5. We have been experimenting simplifying the Languages Icon. This approach uses a globe carved into wood. Wood is a big theme in the app so we thought we would try it out in the icon.

    Thoughts on this VS the less textured, letter based approach?
