Mckinley Burkart Architects is an intelligence based design studio based in Vancouver and Calgary, specializing in architecture, interior design and brand identity. A firm rooted in quality, character and luxury, their unconventional designs combined with their understanding of modern, traditional design elements and principles, really make this creative design firm a true gem.

After stumbling across Mckinley Burkart’s website, I took it upon myself to redesign their website as I felt that it was to "cookie cutter" for a design firm who is, in every sense of the word, unique. I wanted this web design to reflect the firm's unique approach to design by giving them a website that was more modern, fun and fresh. First impressions matter, so I decided to focus this redesign particularly on highlighting content and projects that this firm creates by presenting it in a more modernized design. By adding some simple animations, and redesigning the layout of the website, I felt I was able to achieve just that!
