Helping my wife come up with a name and logotype for an animal themed handbag line. It's broader than birds but I liked this name.
Would love some feedback.

The 'y' feels a little awkward...compared to the rest of the letters, it really jumps out at you. Have you considered a custom y? Possibly basing it off of the h (as a starting point, naturally).
The dots inside the b + d work, but at the same time they don't, since they appear to be perfect circles while the counters are more oval, so I'd maybe try to find a middle ground somewhere there.
Otherwise, looking nice thus far!
@Peter Smith Great feedback, thank you! Look out for the rebound.
I like the playful look, you may be even make it a little more with softer edges...
I agree with @Peter on the "y" - I also think it might help to play with the height of the ascenders on the "h", "b", and "d" they seem a bit high right now especially since all the other type is kerned to tightly.
I also think the eyes need some adjusting, right now they seem to be trying too hard, does that make sense?
Keep going though, this is coming together!
