I've been noodling on a new portfolio site for over a year at this point, with little to show for it. It's been tricky figuring out how to balance design that I feel is honest to my inherent taste, but that can also operate adequately as a professional tool to get new work. Same old story.
However, I took some time last week to put together a stripped down, largely style-less portfolio design that I think will showcase the work well, focusing on small details to really enhance the experience without getting in the way too much. This is the first iteration (I still have to build out the entire portfolio section), but you get the idea. I always appreciate feedback.
