Komatsu (formerly Joy Global) is a heavy equipment manufacturer. Its heavy machinery enables customers to extract and haul coal and minerals in both underground and surface mining. Komatsu found that adding smart IoT enabled sensors to its customer's equipment fleets enabled significant productivity bumps, with vastly lowered breakdown incidents. Our team worked with Komatsu to produce the report content strategy, and data visualization.
