I launched a small project with a list of best UX practices for e-commerce websites — https://www.ecommerce-checklist.com.

Overall 55 guidelines divided into 9 sections, including homepage, product list, checkout, and mobile. Each guideline has an example of successful implementation and a link to the corresponding article.

The information is based on studies by Baymard Institute, Nielsen Norman Group, a number of e-commerce blogs and my own experience.
