Some time ago I had the privilege to work on a website for a cool LA-based startup that transcribes audio recordings of conversations with the use of machine learning. We wanted to communicate the "modern, tech, innovative" side of the company but be pleasing to the "law, senior, conventional" kind of customers at the same time. There was no branding foundation nor any visual materials we could use so we opted for the use of abstract shapes resembling conversation bubbles and navy-blue primary color which suits for both tech and law occupation.
