We've got a lot of stuff cooking here with this new email client. Not only will we be available on iOS but also as a desktop app and web app. Here's a small sneakpeek of the UI of the desktop app.
The email icon (create) might seem to be lost in space, but actually when you press some of the email items you get even more options next to the email icon.

Nice work :)
looks very nice, only dont like that fact those 3 build in mac options (close minima...) is out of that design :)
Rdio mail client? ;) Nice work.
You should make the window options a light gray, similar to Rdio. Other than that, nice work. :)
nice fusion of OSX and Windows 8
wow, its beautifully clean. :) I'd love to use app like this.
clean clean clean *_*
interesting work ;)
What is the purpose of the letter that is floating at the top?
@Henry Modisett If you read the comment underneath the picture you would've noticed! :)
@Marian Buhnici @Ricardo Salazar @Giovanni Tancredi @Michal Langmajer @Adam Wilson @Ari @Ramy Majouji @Luboš Volkov @Dhiren Adesara Thanks a bunch all of you.
I'm so in love with this client concept... I'm soo in love...
I have read your comment beyond the shot, but I disagree with this concept unless I see, this makes sense :D
I would suggest to place the create-button next to the colored mac buttons or next to the search field (with a small spacing of about 24px like the others have got).
Keep us posted!!
@Finn Thanks Finn :)
Nice work Victor! I'm an Edgar Allan Poe fan, too
@Victor Erixon oops i missed that! I am still not sold though I would have to see it in action :)
Wow! Lookin' great!
Love this! How can we know when you release the apps?
@John Peele Hi John! The iOS app is already in production. We'll start off releasing the iOS app and then moving on onto different platforms, probably starting with a desktop/web app. Then we've some other different cool ideas.
its Simple. its awesome!
Awesome. I really like that people are starting to use that space up top of OSX windows. That said, I'm not in love with the "create" symbol. It doesn't really convey "creation", "compose", or "new" to me. The symbol style in general is really solid though- especially that paperclip!
You should take a look at how Sparrow solved it, theirs is really obvious. But this one looks better, I think :)
@Robert Grazioli Thanks Robert, I've already changed that to the traditional compose icon :-)
what icon set are you using
@Nick Sloggett Custom made
keyboard shortcuts: ← previous shot → next shot L or F like
