Washington Shoe Store, 135 W. Washington Street, has been open continuously by three generations of the same family since 1910.
Donckers, 137 W. Washington Street, was originally opened as an open-air stand in 1896 by Fred Donckers. The building on W. Washington Street opened in 1914 and has been dishing out candy, a soda fountain, and lunch ever since.
The Delft, 139 W. Washington Street, opened as a single-screen theater in 1940 (built by Fred Donckers). The theater was converted into a modern five-screen theater but closed in 2012. The building now houses a bar and bistro restaurant that screens movies.
