Mohatta Palace – Karachi

The combination of pink stone from Jodhpur and yellow stone from Gizri makes Mohatta Palace one of the most unique building of Karachi. Mohatta Palace is also one of the oldest buildings of the city. The aesthetic style of Indo-Pak revival architecture was built by Shivratan Chandraratan Mohatta, a Rajisthani businessman in 1927. After partition Quaid-e-Azam’s sister Fatima Jinnah moved here and in 1995 it was converted into a Museum by Government of Sindh.
