Leqqr Self Order Kiosk (Part 2/3)

In this project, I re-design Leqqr's self order kiosk. It's common for fast food restaurant to have this. So you can do self service and just wait for the meal. This is easier than waiting in the line. I don't know, but I think just some place use it in Indonesia. Not a common device I guess

They want a new design that looks fresh, modern, and can be applied to many food company visual identity. So you can say I make a mockup here.

Challenges in here, not every company has decent photo of their food, but some also put extra effort to introduce their dishes. I create two templates for that. The first one is for the prepared one, and the other is one-for-all template.

I think it's easier. One-for-all template will reduce cost for the company too. You don't have to hire a photographer for that. I guess your instaholic sister capable to get a photo for this template

Another thing is when you order combo meal. In some case, you pick your beverage in different page, and if something miss, you have to back to that page. But, it's not a problem anymore, I create it, so you can choose yours in same page. Click it, it will increase, and click "x" to reduce the amount

Also when you finish. Wanna check it again? Click edit button, and you can see everything there. Everything in one page. I can say you can see everything in this order page.

Another thing for the UX, I do a simple test. I ask my friends to play their phone. I want know people habbit when interacting with screen. A simple answer, most people will start with right hand. Then I put every important button mostly on the right side. Considering also about drive-thru position, this one is better, because in Europe drive one the left seat. How to say it hmm.. you might be miss the screen on the car, but there is a chance you don't miss the button.

And many other things such as, why abort button with green like the background so you focus on paying not canceling. Or why delete button with red color because people common with deny action with red color etc
