The email client I've been using for the past 3 years recently made a terrible business choice by locking basic functionality (notifications) behind a subscription paywall even though you bought the client, to begin with.
I decided to switch to Spark mail and so far I love their simple layout and easy use.
Switching between client and seeing the difference in design I wanted to try and design my own email client (UI wise).
