Daily UI #021 - Home Monitoring Dashboard

Day: 021 - Home Monitoring Dashboard

For this challenge, I wanted to explore some experimental use cases for a home monitoring system. That mostly manifested in the concept of a self-learning AI that could monitor supply levels of various products in your house. This could also integrate with delivery services automatically restocking your products.

+Notes+

>ALL Components
Horizontal Ellipsis in the top right corners of the containers control the settings of the components.
If the content extends beyond the bottom of a container it will be faded slightly. The User can scroll to reveal more content, and the scroll limit is determined by the length of the content.
All components are built modularly and can accommodate infinite content.

> Video
This component would act like a carousel, the active item would be indicated by turning into a white square, and playing on the main display. The thumbnails of the other camera streams would be live so the User can quickly preview what is happening. There would also be a separate tab where the User can view all camera streams at once.

> Lights
The wheel would control the color and brightness of the light, and the light can easily turn off the light with the button below.

> Air Quality
The concept for this component would synch with a product similar to Awair: https://getawair.com/.

> Supply Levels
This was the concept I was the most excited about prototyping, though it would still need a lot of work. This system would be able to detect supply levels of various products in one’s household. The User would then be able to instantly order more through an integrated delivery system.
