Dribbble Dunk

Thank you @Travis Lima for inviting me to Dribbble.

Hi everyone, Back in the day I used to Dribbble in my backyard where I grew up in a small town called Empangeni, South Africa. I went to my first ever basketball training session at University, I was 6ft4 and so excited to play a real basketball game. I was the only white guy who showed up for the training. No one passed the ball to me and I was so unfit. It's been said that white men can't jump. That was the last training session I ever attended and I decided to rather sharpen up my graphic design skills at university. This is the only shot I have of me dunkin' on someone, they were there, yeah, right under my knee (or so I imagined). I was about 15years old there. Uhhuh, I look different now, I've lost all my hair. Yes, my head looks more like a basketball now.

My favourite Dribbling move was, wait for it... The Behind-the-Back Dribble - An advanced dribbling move involving a player moving the basketball from one hand to the other by bouncing it behind their back. Often used when a close on-ball defender would steal a basic crossover. Just like Allen Iverson mastered!

Today my basketball skills suck, but I am glad I can still dribbble here online, with you guys! Feel free to Bounce Pass some work my way if you like my creative flare. I've been designing for over 12years now and enjoy illustrating, branding, logo design, poetry, jamming guitar, networking, helping people, being kind, and my cat Figaro. I recently started my own design business.

Apparently, if you Dribbble on your pillow you should try to sleep on your back! #Lifehack

Thanks for having me on Dribbble!

Warmest Regards,

Nicolas
