Illustration for an animation

I'm learning animating my illustrations in after effects, after seeing some real cool animation from @Glenn Thomas

First project is going to be this guy and another (with a piano) walking into the middle of the screen, and playing some music with the childish head bob. Maybe a sun in the middle, bobbing along. I want it fun and cartoony. I'm finally getting all this texturing and detail business done in illustrator, very happy about that, too.
