Opendoor Buyer Design System

We hacked our first Buyer Design Guidances by putting together basic rules in dropbox paper, despite the fact we got no time working on fancy design system we were pretty synced up on what spacing system and styles we use across teams.

Later, I built our first design system as a Sketch library. Recently, I rebuild it again with a lot of additions to help my team move over from Sketch to Figma.

Hundreds of components and dozen pages with documentation, working on Opendoor Design System we pay attention to many things: principles, typography, colors, spacings, buttons, modules, copy and etc. You might hear that true design system isn't just a sheet of still components, but also the logic of their behavior. Design is never done, the system is never completed, keeping improvements on Opendoor Buyer Design System iteratively, ambitiously and chill.
