    Not bad at all, I'm torn between both versions. This one looks very bold, nearly has an art deco feel to it (maybe it's the shape of the symbol).

    Thanks for the comments folks.

    The clients are partners - one wants art deco, the other wants modernist - so we figure this is a good combination.

    Had to give this one another look. I do like how this logo is pretty much unmistakable as the sun. It's good that both looks will work well in both black and gold.
