MLS (Major League Soccer) Redesign Concept

I have a dream job of making a sports website for a soccer league or team (preferably any of the teams in Atlanta Georgia or Manchester United - any takers) and I wanted to challenge myself to redesign the site that houses all the leagues in the US.

I saw the current design and felt it to be a bit too cluttered for me and my liking, so I made a new design that added some spacing and showcased stats more for the league.

I picked some ideas from other leagues around and molded my own spin on it for the league. I wanted to use a bold color for the website since the teams are housed on their site.
