Hornet Samurai

This was a Character Design Challenge entry for the “Bug Warrior” theme. Combining a Japanese hornet with a samurai was an obvious choice, so I tried to make the execution as interesting as possible. I used more flat shapes and textures than I usually do, and focused on making him sharp, angular, and menacing.
