Sabertooth Dinozord - Air Max Fusion

On March 26th 2017, Nike celebrated the “birthday” of the Nike Air Max. During this so called Air Max Day, Nike released several original colorways and special edition Nike shoes which contained red, blue and animal skin themed designs. During this period the new Power Rangers movie was set to release in cinemas. I came up with the idea to fuse the Nike sneakers with the Power Rangers’ Dinozord vehicles.

My artwork got reposted by small and big Instagram accounts. It took me by surprise when Hypebeast (a very well know street culture blog) reposted my artwork. I was very happy with the exposure. The craziest thing about this project is that a sneaker collector actually got the T-rex Dinozord tattooed on his arm!
