To the Zoo - Illustrated UI - Red Panda

Last summer I visited Diergaarde Blijdorp (Rotterdam Zoo) for the first time. I really liked the animals I saw, so I decided to make some quick sketched during my visit.

This reminded me of a school project I have worked on in 2011. During my first year of my bachelor’s I had to complete a individual project. Amsterdam City Archives has a huge database of historical data. But a lot of people don’t know how to find this data, if they are even aware of its existence.

The students had to design an app for visitors of Amsterdam which made that data relevant. My project had to be about Amsterdam East. I chose to focus on Artis as this zoo is located in the eastern part of town.

The original visual design is not representative anymore for my current skills. This is why I decided to redesign some screens of the user interface.
