Bittersweet Everythings

The exhibition “Bittersweet Everythings” is a fictional visual and audio immersive exhibition where you have the opportunity to listen to stranger’s positive life lessons that they have obtained from past failed relationships as well as see an artistic interpretation of the lessons through photographs. The content of the book will feature the photographs that are presented as well as the written version of the spoken life lessons displayed on the pages alongside the images. The intended audience is anyone who has ever felt like they have been through any kind of failed relationship, or for those who feel like they struggle to connect to other people.

The exhibition is provided as an opportunity to spark self-reflection and to look back on someone they once thought that wronged them and instead look to them with gratitude for a lesson that has shaped them into the person they are today. The attendee will want to buy the book to be able to reflect on the lessons they encountered throughout the exhibit and connect with those that resonate within their own lives. I want the viewer of the book to feel safe, understood, connected and I want the viewer to feel the opportunity to uncover the positivity of their own failed relationships and heartbreaks.
