Proposed logo for a tech company. The company had no specific market that they were targeting such as cloud, storage, etc. They could potentially be developing almost anything under the sun related to technology. I wanted to create an identity that evokes that broad of an idea without pigeonholing them to one specific thing. This is my attempt at visualizing that concept of technology (transparency in the N to connotate light) and idea generation (a lightbulb) to create a unique identity. The cross bar is a reference to "Harvest of Stars" by Poul Anderson, the book that inspired the company's name.
