@Durmuş Kavcıoğlu @Mert Can Eyriyer and I attended in the Vodafone Designathon ( Hackathon for Designers ) 2019 and We were 3rd. This event was really good experience for us. There were 5 scenarios and We got the E-Shop experience of Vodafone Yanımda mobile application.
How we started? Let's listen to the process from us! Firstly, we have divided the whole process into five.
We taked general usage statistics and E-Shop's informations from mentors.
2. Create Persona and Flow
We created 2 different persona types: Vodafone Red and Vodafone Freezone.
Who is "V Red"?
They are pay bills in time, earn high level salary, average 30 ages, high Data - SMS - Calls Packages, E-commerce habits, follow next generation technologies and intellectual people. In shortly, They are businessmen and high-value people.
Who is "V Freezone"?
They are study at university, attach importance to brand loyalty, actively using social media platforms, follow next generation technologies, daily phone usage rate is very high and social people. In shortly middle-value people and students.
3. Problem Detection and Solution Suggestions
We detected, which areas we can improve of experiences and make more usable into points in the mobile application.
After detecting our problems, we examined the design patterns that can be used according to our personas. Then we tried to improve the experience and visual interface.
After completing the design process, we have created a prototype to examine and test the designs we have created.
5. Optimization Process
After examining the prototype we prepared, we realized that we could make some points better. Then we optimized the application and finalized the design to deliver for Designathon.
