Web App for Finding Design Contests and Awards

Are you ambitious? Do you want people to know your name? Do you want it to be associated with good design? Or maybe you just want to showcase your works? If so I’m sure you’ve considered the idea of submitting your designs to some design awards or contests. But which? As there are so many of them… So we thought it would be handy to have all the design awards and contests in one place with the option to sort them by date, cost and other criteria.

Basically, what you see above is our shot at designing such an app. We decided to keep is simple, minimal and clean as its main purpose is to be informative. Black and white color palette works well in this case as it makes it easy to highlight the active elements and it also gives a stylish look. Adding a timeline with all the contests/awards marked in it might also be a good idea as it can significantly improve user experience.
