This is an Egyptian khopesh, a symbolic weapon of the ancient Egypt, used by kings and soldiers alike. I've created this model to expand my skill of modeling weapons of unorthodox shapes. I've also learned how to make decorations and upped my skills with metallic materials and Substance Painter in general.
This project was done in collaboration with Israel Medina. Check out his portfolio on Artstation.
I've created the model and together we have created the textures. I've created the steel and obsidian variations and recreated the bronze version that Israel worked on. Make sure you check out his Artstation for historical description of the weapon and his other awesome stuff.

This weapons made an appearance in Carved Brink, a DLC sized quest mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, created by the Haem Projects. Ingame screenshots are at the bottom!
