I'd like to see the ability to sort shots within a search. By default all icons are off. Clicking any icons invokes sorting by that option. Ex. If the heart is clicked, the shots will be sorted by most likes. If an icon is clicked again in its active state, the sort will go back to default.

Love this idea. With @Dribbble and @Dan Cederholm would integrate this.

I've often thought about this and why @Dribbble hasn't already integrated it. The downside is it could possibly be said to stagnate things, since more views & attention would be given to the already "all time" popular and highly viewed shots. I suppose the whole idea of the secret-sauce formula behind the popular shots feed is the antidote of said stagnation. I think though, that your solution @3magine of having the sorting off by default is a great idea! I would personally LOVE to see this implemented, perhaps not just on the search results - I've often wanted to do this type of sorting view on my own favourites, for example.

@Ralph Manning I don't think it would stagnate things as it wouldn't be available on the popular, everyone, debuts, etc. shots. It would only be available after performing a search on a particular keyword or phrase. I personally would love to see this feature in the search results simply because when i'm looking for inspiration I'd like to see the best of the best.

Yeah, i'm not disagreeing with you @3magine, nor necessarily implying it would stagnate. Just speculating why something like this hasn't been implemented already. :-)

I was just about to make this and then did a quick search to see if anyone else has done it yet. This needs way more likes so it cant get implemented.
