Email Marketing

As Web and Print Designer for Southern Living Magazine, not only did we promote our events and magazines, but we also sent out a weekly travel newsletter to promote our travel advertisers and content. I added a special tracking code in the newsletters that served metrics to our proprietary email platform and analytic system to measure success.

As Digital Marketing Designer at Hoffman Media, I created weekly emails and marketing promotions for our books, magazines, subscriptions, and products, utilizing CheetahMail, Emma, and MailChimp platforms and embedded sponsor and in-house banner ads. Oftentimes I incorporated animated gifs and countdown clocks to increase click-thru rates. We measured success using Google Analytics and proprietary software.
