Yakima Sun Kings

This is a logo redesign concept for the Yakima Sun Kings out of The Basketball League.

I was disheartened to find out that when my beloved hometown Sun Kings were reestablished, they had abandoned their iconic crimson and yellow colors in favor of a generic gold and black color scheme which has zero roots in Yakima. So, when I found this out, I promptly made a logo incorporating the iconic colors as well as the well-known "flame person" logo from their glory days of the CBA to make a new identity that I could palate.
