Fluid Layout

Fluid layout is one out of four types of layouts used for websites. Fluid layouts use percentages to specify sizes and spacing of design elements, which means that no matter what screen size the website is being viewed on, the proportion of the design stays the same and fills the width of the page. While this layout flexibly resizes for multiple devices, there is a challenge of content overcrowding on smaller screens and stretched whitespace on wider screens.
