Tribus Beer Co - Lazy Hogger
So here it finally is. This was my first can design for a real brewery. After posting some of that work on the self initiated project around a month ago, a brewery located up in Connecticut reached out and asked if I'd like to design a label for them. The beer is a hazy lager called Lazy Hogger (I see what they did there).
Their label designs also double as tin tackers that they post up above taps, so their existing design system revolves around working well as a piece of signage and a label. That means the name is the primary element and needs to be really dominant in the layout. Concept for the design was a spooky, hazy looking forest scene.
The guys at Tribus loved the design, so I expect there will be more of these to come soon! And if you're up in Connecticut, this beer should be on tap at their brewery in Milford, CT as of yesterday.
