Dribbble iOS App - Profile Layout

Here's a more detailed look at my redesign of the top section of a Dribbble profile.

I felt that the current layout of profile information, which I've labeled in this shot as "current", is a bit clunky and uses up an unnecessary amount of vertical space.

I went about redesigning this space by aiming to show at least the same information but in a more gridded, systematic, and legible way. By aligning elements to a grid and sorting them hierarchically, I ended up being able to introduce more value to this area while taking up less vertical space allowing more of the shots to show from below.

The new design is organized in 3 parts, from top to bottom:

1 - Player avatar, name, pro status, and all tappable links that would lead to more information about the player or ways to interact with them directly.
2 - Location and bio where the player can give a more personal touch as they introduce themselves.
3 - All of the ways that one might interact with this player's presence on the Dribbble platform. I wanted to bring in the ability to browse Shots, Likes, and Buckets from this profile view just like you can in a web view on desktop. You'd also be able to tap on "Followers" and "Following" to view this player's community much like you can on Instagram or Twitter.

If you'd like to a view a still version of the profile design I've included an attachment of just that.

Take a look, pick it apart, and let me know your thoughts!

P.S. I snuck a little custom icon for Shots in there that I'm loving šŸ˜
