I entered the NYC POPS Logo Competition to create a more holistic look for the program. While the signage works to show that the space is public, with thousands of people walking past these sites, it needed a more instantaneously recognizable logo. This logo serves to show a bit about the space while telling you exactly what it is. The logo also works as a functioning stencil, so it can be applied anywhere very quickly.
