Flow-Machines
We were tasked to design the brand identity and album cover for the world’s first album composed using artificial intelligence.
Flow-Machines, developed at Sony’s Computer Science Labs in Paris, is created to write its own original melodies and suggest chords and sounds. For its debut album, Flow-Machines collaborated with musical artists such as Belgian house producer Stromae and Canadian pop star Kiesza to give the songs emotion, structure, and the inimitable human touch.
As this was a landmark introduction of A.I. into the world of musical creation, we wanted to create the feeling of one's reaching out to the unknown: This is 'Hello World’.
