Tudor Rose

The Tudor Rose - Following the battle at Bosworth, Henry Tudor (House of Lancaster) defeated and killed Richard III (House of York), and was crowned king. Thus ending the Wars of the Roses. Henry then married Elizabeth of York to bring all sides together. The Tudor Rose is the combination of House Lancaster (the red, dominant petals) and House York (the white inner petals). It's still used in England and once you notice it you see it everywhere.
