Sex: The ins and outs

Branding concept for a sex and relationship education app.

Through research and investigation I discovered that both students and teachers found sex and relationship education awkward and scary. To solve this, I set out to create a brand that made sex and relationship education feel friendly and approachable. I also wanted bring in an element of humour to break the stigma and take away from the seriousness of the topic. To do this, I created a visual language that took inspiration from iconography such as condoms and people intertwining. I then created a type based logo that uses the personality of this visual language to change people's perception of sex and relationship education.
